Carles and Maria warmly welcome you to Isavarre, Pallars Sobirà. El Cobert dén Piarró, dates back to the 15th century when it was built as a barn, over the centuries it was extended and used as a country house. Carles y Maria have recently overseen a complete renovation of this beautiful home maintaining the original structure and traditional materials of stone and wood. The house in Isavarre is situated within 15 minutes distance by car of bigger towns like Esterri d’Àneu and Espot where you can find loads of restaurants, shops and leisure centers.
FACILITIES & RATES
We offer two rustic apartments for 4 people each. Parking is available next to the property. El Cobert d’en Piarró is a no-smoking property.
Each apartment has a big equipped American kitchen, one living room with a sofa-bed and one bedroom. Both apartments have all the equipment to make your stay comfortable, including fridge, tv, washing machine, iron, microwave, toast, cafetiere, bedclothes and towels.
Each room has an Internet connection and there is free wifi available throughout.
Rates are between 65€ and 70€ per day depending on the season and the duration of the stay. Please contact us to confirm the price for your booking. High season rates: Easter (4 days) 350€ Christmas’s or Happy New Year (2 days) 300€ Summer festivities 23th June - “Falles d’Isil or Sant Joan” (1 day) 80€ *An obligatory touristic tax of 0,90€ + VAT will be charged per person and per day. A copy of ID or Passport will be required to all guests.
PLACES TO SEE & THINGS TO DO
The valleys of Àneu, within the Natural Park of the High Pyrenees, combine spectacular landscapes and a significant number of species of flora and fauna. Hiking, horse riding, national parks visits or high mountain treks are a good way to get to know the valleys of Àneu. Ver más
In winter the renowned ski resorts of Baqueira Beret, Espot and Port Ainé are 8.7 miles from Isavarre. You can engage in various activities, such as ski, snowshoeing, snowmobile or husky dog sled.
Castles, chapels, caves, legends… the Pyrenees are full of stories to discover. The valley offer loads of tours to discover the history, the traditions and the culture of the people that lived in these mountains. Visitors to the Àneu Valley will be able to enjoy innumerable examples of Romanesque art, a rich heritage that is extremely valuable architecturally, set in a landscape of great beauty.
Isavarre hosts an excellent restaurant called "Nabiu" which offers taditional food using local ingredients and a lovely variety of fondues. Another two traditional restaurants are "La Tona" and "Casa Pastora situated in the small town of Isil. For more gastronomic diversity the best option is the town of Esterri d´Áneu.
